[GUIDE]: How to move your tokens from CoinDCX to Polygon Network?

Polygon Network (also known as MATIC Network) is an Indian-origin project that has become supremely popular for everything crypto from DeFi, metaverse, gaming, to much more.

With over 7,000+ projects, including the most popular ones such as OpenSea (NFT marketplace), Decentraland and Sandbox (Metaverse), Aave (DeFi), Crazy Defense Heroes, Arc8 (Gaming), Polygon is scaling exponentially.

The reason — low fees. If you are planning to use any DeFi, Metaverse, gaming DApp, or simply HODL your tokens, doing it on Polygon Network can save you a ton of fees.

In this article, we will explore how to transfer your ERC-20 tokens from your CoinDCX to your Polygon Network-enabled wallet.

Before you begin, make sure you have a Metamask account, with which you can connect to the Polygon Network. If you don’t know how to connect the two or don’t have a Metamask account yet, check out this step-by-step guide to take you through.

Ready? Here we go.

Step 1: Ensure your token is available on Polygon Network

There are 350,000+ ERC-20 compatible tokens but only 1,800+ are available on Polygon. Polygon is selective but chances are if you are dealing in an adequately liquid token, you will find it on Polygon. Check if your token is on Polygon Network here.

Step 2: Copy your Metamask Account Address

Open your Metamask and click on your account to copy your address. This is the address where we transfer tokens. You can check the same balance in Metamask and the connected Polygon Wallet.

Girnaar Nodes: If you are as excited about Polygon’s future as we are, then you must hold some Polygon (MATIC) tokens.

If yes, then why simply buy and hold? Stake your tokens and see your bag of Polygon (MATIC) tokens grow. Staking Polygon token on the blockchain gives you an extra return in MATIC terms, and you can withdraw anytime. All on blockchain and 100% secure.
